Among the callers was a man claiming to be Kevin Berry of Quick Cash Loans. He offered the consumer a $1,000 loan if the consumer first put a $150 on a prepaid card and provided the card’s access code over the phone. After the consumer did so, the $150 was removed from her prepaid card and the consumer did not receive the promised loan.

However, such actions still can be a part of some lenders’ credit process. By submitting your personal information, you agree to the terms that a lender offers. Independent lenders that participate in our program are obliged to provide the agreed amount of cash in the manner agreed; the loan must be returned in full in due time by a borrower. Please, keep in mind that short-term small cash loans cannot be a solution to long-term debt problems. It is strongly recommended that you should borrow the exact amount that you now find necessary; the one that you can repay easily within the term agreed. Late repayments and nonpayment are fraught with complications, late fees and other collection activities. All lenders have their own terms and conditions they operate in accordance with; make sure you review them before signing any agreement. NOTICE: This disclosure is being provided to you pursuant to our terms of service with Google®, Inc. It is not required by any federal, state or local law. Our lenders may offer you a loan with an APR between 20% and 300%. The APR on a small dollar, short term loan represents the amount of your loan, cost of the loan, term of the loan and repayment amounts and timing. Loans on the lower end of the APR range may be for a larger loan amount and for a longer term. Loans on the higher end of the APR range may be for a smaller loan amount and for a shorter term. Depending on your credit needs and desire to pay your loan off quickly, your lender may only offer you loans with an APR near the high end of the range noted above. This is an expensive form of credit. A short term loan should be used for short term financial needs only, not as a long term financial solution. Customers with credit difficulties should seek credit counseling or meet with a nonprofit financial counseling service in their community. You are encouraged to consult your state’s consumer information pages to learn more about the risks involved with cash advances. State laws and regulations may be applicable to your payday loan. If you do not pay your loan according to its terms, your lender may: charge you late fees, send your account to a collection agency, report your information to a consumer reporting agency which may negatively affect your credit score, offer to renew, extend or refinance your loan, which may cause you to incur additional fees, charges and interest. We are not a lender. Only your lender can provide you with information about your specific loan terms and APR and the implications for non-payment of your loan. Ask your lender for their current rates and charges and their policies for non-payment.

The terms and conditions of a loan might differ from lender to lender. You will get them at the same time as the loan offer, so read them carefully. At the same time you will get payment plan and the interest rates for that loan. For small loans, the annual percentage rate can be quite high, and late fees can be huge. Make sure you agree with the terms and can pay the loan back in a given time before you sign the contract. If you have any problems meeting the payment deadlines, contact the provider straight away.
